Join us in March for the Wilton cake decorating courses.Each course is four weeks long and is 2 hours long.Course 1 is tentatively each Thursday in March from 6-8pm.Please call to reserve your spot, as space is limited.The four week course is $40.Additional supplies, if needed are an additional charge.We discount all student purchases 10%.
Wilton Cake Decorating, Course I Tuesdays, March 23, 30, April 6, & 13 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join certified Wilton instructor Brenda Kelly for Course I.You will begin March 23rd and continue four consecutive Tuesdays.Learn to make cakes like a professional!We'll learn the fundamentals, including buttercream icing, working with decorating bags and cake preparation, essentials of cake decorating, tips, and coloring.Brenda will be your guide to making and decorating wonderful cakes that will delight your friends and family.Any decorating supplies you may want and your class kit can be purchased at 10% off.
Wilton Cake Decorating, Course II April 15, 22, 29, & May 6 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm $40.00 for 4 classes
Build on the skills you learned in Course I with this exciting 4-lesson course on Thursday evenings!Brenda will introduce you to many dramatic techniques to make your cakes unforgettable.Master elegant new borders, featuring rosettes, reverse shells and rope designs.Give your cakes incredible dimension with the addition of bold color flow decoration.Create lovely new flowers like rosebuds, lilies, daisies, daffodils, mums and more.By the end of the course, you'll be able to make an impressive flower basket cake using the interwoven basketweave technique.Additional supplies or kits may be purchased for 10% off.
Wilton Cake Decorating, Course III March 18, 25, April 1, & 8 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm $40.00 for 4 classes
Reach a new level of decorating sophistication with the beautiful flowers and techniques in Course 3. Begin with intricate accents such as embroidery and lace, stringwork, garland and ruffle borders. Discover the beauty of decorating with rolled fondant for covering cakes with an immaculate smooth surface and shaping fun figures and elegant flowers. Add several new icing flowers to your repertoire, including lovely holiday blooms like poinsettias and Easter lilies. Complete your course by assembling and decorating a towering tiered cake with beautiful stringwork, flowers and borders.
Fondant and Gumpaste
Discover a great new way to add excitement to your cakes using these easy-to-shape icings. In this new course, youŽll experience a variety of fondant techniques and the beauty of decorating with gum paste. You will create flowers and accents with beautiful detail. You will see how to use tools to cut and shape amazing textured ribbons and borders. Each new technique will prepare you to decorate a Grand Finale cake you will be proud to take home.

Kids Pumpkin Class

Halloween is a fun time for kids!The pumpkin patch is full of all sizes of pumpkins just waiting to be carved up in time for the holiday!Instead of just making toasted pumpkin seeds out of those pumpkins, kids will learn a variety of fun things to make and eat from the fresh bounty!Enjoy toasted pumpkin seeds, pumpkin applesauce, "witch's hat" ravioli with cinnamon yogurt dip, pumpkin cupcakes, pumpkin chips and jack-o-lanterns.
"Make Ahead of Time" Sides for a (mostly) Stress Free Thanksgiving

Often the holidays can be a source of stress as large amounts of people gather for a feast that cannot possibly fit in one oven!This class will give you some make ahead recipe ideas that will cut down your time in the kitchen on the big day, give you plenty of food for all your guests and make it so you can spend more time with your friends and family and less time in the kitchen.Enjoy down home dinner rolls, classic green been casserole, candied yams, garlic mashed potatoes and a classic pumpkin pie!We'll also try and discuss wine parings from Volant Mill Winery during this class taught by personal chef Tim Hering.
Easy, Elegant Spreads and Dips for Unexpected Holiday Guests

The holiday season is a time for friends and family to gather and celebrate!What can you do if some of those friends and family show up unexpected?This class will show you some quick and easy recipes for spreads and dips that can turn any day into a special event!Try an artichoke and spinach dip, a tri of meat spreads - salami, ham and pepperoni.Also being prepared are a classic cheese ball and a fruit dip medley, all with several quick and easy variations.Enjoy Volant Mill Wine with this class taught by personal chef Tim Hering.
